FAQs
How much does a land survey cost?
It depends on a lot of different factors. For example, we take into account the size of the property we are surveying and what type of surveying work you need us to perform. The easiest way to have this question answered is to fill out our online quote form. It only takes a few minutes to fill out, and we will respond with a firm quote within 24 hours.
How long does it take to get a survey completed?
Most surveys can be completed and drawn within 7 business days. For an additional fee, we can have the survey rushed to you within 24 hours. Surveys may not be released without payment in full.
What do I need to give my mortgage company so they can determine if I need flood insurance?
To determine whether flood insurance is required, you will need to submit a FEMA flood elevation certificate to your mortgage company. This federal document is the final word in determining whether your property is in a flood hazard area.
How long will my survey be good for?
When a survey is completed, it shows all relevant information at the time of the survey. Some people will reuse the same survey for many years but once a change has been made to the property, it’s recommended that a new survey be made. This includes adding an addition to the house or adding a fence. At RAMPA, we recommend getting a new survey when there are any changes to avoid the cost of future property disputes and other unforeseen issues.
